I’ve always had an ambition to pursue a professional activity combining analytical skills with a focus on people. This is likely a result of my multi-cultural background and interest in building an understanding of the world rooted in science.
I am from India but grew up in France and in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I learned the value of institutional structures and governance, and how this can make or break the success of an endeavour.
I studied Natural Sciences at UCL because of the depth and breadth of topics covered, namely physical and biological sciences, and specialised in Neuroscience to better understand the scientific basis for human behaviour. Studying Management at the University of Cambridge gave me another perspective on multi-disciplinary work. Now as an investor, I really enjoy the diversity of people and topics encountered, and the variety of skills required every day.
Having spent several years in strategy consulting at Bain & Company, I worked with many different people across various industries, functions and levels of seniority. I learned that most business successes come down to people working together effectively, achieving more than the sum of the parts.
As a violinist, performing and composing, I have learned that patience, humility, open-mindedness and collaboration are key to achieving long-term objectives. Blixt enables me to put these learnings into practice, working with incredible founders and managers to build for future generations.
